Ok now I have sometime and more important a bit of willingness to write. The past days have been a little wary. As always the roots start before they are visible... Last Wednesday my dad went to see a doctor, he didn't exited the hospital, they discovered an immense tumor right in the middle of his left kidney. Not until several days the urologist told us that all was due to the tobacco. We spent the Thursday dawn trying to get a room for him. I can't complain about physicians, they are really great and humanitarian, but the administrative employees... Gosh, those can't be more crude. I won't explain what I saw or my father's symptom, it isn't the place for it. Just... Friends or whoever read this, stop smoking!
At the hospital I learnt a bit about nurse-things, as I told Pollo, have I been immortal I would have study medicine ;) Several days i have spent there, or should I said nights... I took the iniciative to ask them if I could stay by night, since mornings I work. I felt it as my place, don't wanting to tire my mom, and my brother has her girlfriend and all. Maybe most of you don't know two features I have. One, I'm more than able to sleep wherever/whenever I like. It's all about letting go random thoughts, if you ask me. Second, I have a light dream. By that I mean I'm aware of the outside world all the time, I normally filter it out, but in this case it was an advantage. These skills could probably save a hunter in the middle of the jungle. The bad news is that it has one disadvantage, for example let's consider last Saturday, when the neighbor turned on a TV all the night :S Now you can ask me all you want about big brother and la academia, I couldn't help myself, I don't like false negatives, so I just accepted the false positives...
I should write down a list of all the good people, friends that have helped me. I was in need of O- blood, yesterday. Most of them couldn't help me, not having the needed type, nonetheless I'm grateful to all of them. Some special consideration to those that did something special. In no particular order, just my memory... Thanks Yorch for offering me to visit my father, thanks pepillo for the offer (he has O-), thanks pollo for letting me take you away from your work, even though you at the end couldn't, too much hemoglobin, what a bad excuse, chicken :P thanks to diana for the SMS, thanks to all the people who have a religion/philosophy and tried to help via prays or the like. Although atheist, I do appreciate when people do what they believe help. Yet, above all, gracias to Mariana who donated one litter of her blood. Let me tell you, she is a great friend, she was scared of the procedure; however she did it =) One day I shall pay you the favor. I have to say it, even if it sounds rude, it's extremely gratifying to sense how many voices were concerned for my dad's health.
In other news, my messed bro, bought a dog, Danonino. I just call him Dan, while reprehending him. I do like him, even if he is annoying and dribbles my shoes. Of course he won't be around much, but for now it's a bliss to have that life in the house, if you know what I mean. (Yes, Snoopy, my dog, keeps living, very healthy, indeed.)
